Why does a VPN cost more after the first year?
The advertised price is an introductory rate for the first term. When the plan renews, most providers charge their regular price, often much higher per month.
How do you calculate the 2-year cost?
For each VPN we take every plan it sells, add the first payment and the renewals needed to reach 24 months, and show the cheapest combination.
Which prices do you show?
The price each provider's own site shows to a buyer in the US, the UK and the eurozone, in that currency. We don't convert; a provider that bills one currency everywhere is marked.
Do VPN companies pay you?
Not at the moment: we don't use affiliate links yet. If we add them, they will be marked and will never change the order, which is always by price.
